ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Dibrugarh - Tea Capital of Assam: Our representative will pick you up from the airport and drop you at the hotel in Tinsukia.
Day 2: Dibru Saikhowa National Park - Wildlife Adventure: In the early morning, visit Dibru Saikhowa National Park, renowned for its varied plant and animal life. Take a boat safari along the Brahmaputra River and spot Gangetic Dolphins. On a guided nature walk, explore the park's wetlands, grasslands, and forests.
Day 3: Tea Estate Tour - Immersive Tea Experience: After Breakfast, embark on a tea estate tour in Tinsukia / Dibrugarh and learn about the history and cultivation of Assam tea. Enjoy a scenic walk amidst the tea gardens. Later head to Shivasagar and overnight stay.
Day 4: Shivasagar - Historical Exploration: A town rich in historical and cultural heritage. Visit the ancient Ahom monuments, including Rang Ghar, Kareng Ghar, and Talatal Ghar. Explore the temples and tanks of Shivasagar, reflecting the Ahom architectural brilliance.
Day 5: Majuli Island - Cultural Delights: Journey to Majuli Island, the world's largest river island. After breakfast, head to Majuli Island, explore the unique Vaishnavite monasteries (Satras) and witness traditional dance and music performances. Interact with the locals and learn about their traditional crafts and way of life. Night stay in Majuli
Day 6: Kaziranga National Park - Wildlife Safari: After Breakfast, start your journey to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Embark on a thrilling jeep to spot the famed one-horned rhinoceros. Explore the park's diverse ecosystem and keep an eye out for tigers, elephants, and other wildlife. Overnight Stay in Kaziranga.
Please note Kaziranga national park is closed for Tourists from 1st May to 30th October every year.
Day 7: Manas National Park - Wilderness Experience: Do an early morning Elephant safari in a different range of Kaziranga. After the safari, return to the hotel, have your Breakfast, and start your journey to Manas National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Embark on thrilling jungle safaris to observe the park's diverse wildlife, including tigers, elephants, and golden langurs. Explore the picturesque landscapes and serene atmosphere of Manas. Night Stay in Manas National Park vicinity. Please note that this day safari depends upon the arrival time of Manas. Otherwise, we will do the next day's morning safari.
Day 8: Manas National Park-Guwahati: After the safari, you will drive to Guwahati, the gateway of North East. As per the available time, you will go for the Brahmaputra cruise and nearby Sukreshwar Mandir Darshan. Night stay in Guwahati.
Day 9: Guwahati - Gateway to Northeast India: Start your day early by visiting Maa Kamakya. Enjoy a packed breakfast and, if time allows, explore other temples in Guwahati, such as Purva Tirupati Shri Balaji Temple, Sukreswar Temple, Navagraha Temple, and Umananda Temple located at the Peacock Island, which happens to be the world's smallest inhabited river island. After an enjoyable exploration of Assam, it's time to say goodbye. Check out from the hotel and head to Guwahati airport for your onward journey, carrying cherished memories of this remarkable trip.
